Ombudsman

The Ombudsman program provides advocacy to residents of long-term care facilities within the Lake Cumberland Area. The local program is one of 15 statewide, with three regional and one state Ombudsman completing the structure.

We assist residents, family members and staff with concerns and complaints regarding resident care, residents’ rights, physician services, or reimbursement. Services include investigation of complaints and in-services for staff education about federal and state laws that pertain to residents.

Complaints and inquiries are accepted via a toll-free phone number, in person, by mail or email.
